Terms of Use

DBC1 sp. z o.o. - Public

Version: v1.0 Last updated: 29 August 2026

These terms govern your use of dbc1.com, the card pages we serve at card.dbc1.com and on customer-branded domains, and our other public pages. They are not the terms on which we supply our service to a customer - those are in the Master Services Agreement, and if your organisation is a DBC1 customer that agreement governs, not this page.

If you do not accept these terms, please do not use the sites.

1. Who we are

3. Card pages, and who they belong to

A card page shows the details of a person who works for one of our customers. We publish that page on the customer's instruction, not our own. The customer decides what appears, and the individual's employer is responsible for it.

Card pages are public by design: they exist so that someone handed a card can reach the person. Being public is the point, not an oversight.

If you believe a card page contains something that should not be there - inaccurate details, content that infringes your rights, or anything unlawful - contact us at info@dbc1.com. We will pass it to the customer responsible and, where the content is unlawful, act ourselves.

If you are the person shown on a card page and you want your details changed or removed, ask your employer. They control the record; we act on their instruction. Our Cardholder Privacy Notice explains this in full.

4. What you may not do

These apply to everyone using our sites, whether or not you are connected to a customer.

Do not collect data in bulk. You may not use automated means to gather, extract or compile the personal data shown on card pages, and you may not systematically resolve card addresses in order to build a directory of individuals - whether by script, browser automation, or any other method.

This is the restriction we care about most, and it is worth explaining. A card page is a contact record for a named person at a named organisation. Collect enough of them and you have reconstructed that organisation's structure with contact details, which is the raw material for targeted phishing and voice fraud. We monitor for it and we act on it.

Do not attempt to circumvent access controls, probe for vulnerabilities outside our Vulnerability Disclosure Policy, or interfere with the operation of the sites.

Do not misuse the contact functions. Details you obtain from a card page are for contacting that person about the business context in which they gave you the card. They are not a mailing list.

Do not misrepresent yourself, impersonate anyone, or use our name, marks or content in a way that suggests an association we have not agreed.

Do not use our domains as a redirect. Our card addresses resolve through domains we operate, and their trustworthiness depends on where they lead.

5. Security research

Good-faith security research within our Vulnerability Disclosure Policy is authorised and is not a breach of these terms. If you are testing within that policy, it governs, and Section 4 does not apply to you.

If you are unsure whether something falls inside it, ask first: security@dbc1.com.

6. Our content

The content of dbc1.com - text, layout, graphics, our name and marks - belongs to us or to those who licensed it to us.

You may read it, print it, quote it with attribution, and share links to it.

You may not republish it as your own, use it commercially without our agreement, or use it to build or train a competing product or service.

Content on a card page belongs to the customer who publishes it, not to us.

7. What we do and do not promise

We keep the sites running and the information on them current, but we do not guarantee that they will always be available or free of error. Our availability commitments to customers are in the Service Level Agreement; they do not extend to visitors to our marketing site.

Information on our site is general. Our blog, guides and comparisons are written to be useful and accurate, and they are not legal, technical or commercial advice for your situation. Decisions that matter deserve advice that accounts for your circumstances.

Where we link to another site, we do not control it and are not responsible for what it contains.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of the sites, or from reliance on information published on them. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited - including for death or personal injury, or for damage caused intentionally.

8. Privacy

How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy and, for card pages, our Cardholder Privacy Notice. Cookies are covered in our Cookie Policy.

Card pages and our forms domain carry no analytics or advertising cookies of any kind.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. The current version is always here, with its version number and date. Continuing to use the sites after a change means you accept the updated terms.

10. Law and disputes

These terms, and any dispute arising from them or from your use of the sites, are governed by Polish law. The courts of Wroclaw have jurisdiction.

Nothing here affects the rights of a consumer under mandatory law in their country of residence.
